International Day message from the Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers
The United Nations’ theme for this year’s international day is “Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-1 World”.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has had significant impacts on people with disability. It has also opened up new and sometimes unexpected opportunities for making things work better for people with disability.
It's time now to draw on your advice and expertise to help plan for a more inclusive Victoria as we enter a period of recovery.
The current state disability plan, Absolutely everyone will remain in place until the new plan is released. Learn more about Absolutely everyone 2017-2020.
