Development of the new state disability plan is underway
Consultation for the new state disability plan is now closed.
Work is underway to review and incorporate all the valuable input that was received throughout consultation to develop the new plan.
The new plan will have a focus on recovery from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic given the significant impacts on people with disability. This is in line with the United Nations’ theme for international day, 2020 which was “Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-1 World”.
International Day message from the Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers, 3 December 2020
